Planner – Data Centres – Amsterdam Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects. Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Planner in Amsterdam. Create, update, and manage the full construction schedule across CSA, MEP and commissioning phases, ensuring all activities are logically linked, properly resourced, and accurately reflect the project’s evolving delivery strategy.
• Progress Tracking and Performance Reporting
Lead the weekly and monthly progress review cycles, capturing real-time data from site teams and subcontractors, analysing deviations, and preparing clear programme dashboards and reports for project leadership.
• Coordination with Engineering, Commercial & Site Teams
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand design status, material lead times, procurement constraints, and installation sequencing, feeding this information into a realistic and achievable programme.
• Lookahead Planning & Constraint Management
Prepare detailed 2–6 week lookaheads, identify potential blockers early, and collaborate with supervisors and package leads to implement mitigation strategies that keep delivery on track.
• Support Delay Analysis and Client Interface Activities
Assist senior planning staff with delay/impact assessments, scenario modelling and recovery strategies, while contributing information required for client updates, progress presentations and contractual communications.
Must have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Netherlands
